Israel, 1991. Caught up in the national fear of chemical attacks, a Russian immigrant boy (Eddie, 9) and his classmates take both their school lessons and emergency training in cramped, underground bomb shelters. Eddie is infatuated with a local Kibbutz girl (Noa, 8). Together they sneak out to a sweet escape in the open air and daylight. Eddie’s dream of love may indeed bloom here, but at what cost?
