Born and raised in a Socialist Kibbutz, Na’ama Keha is an award-winning New York-based filmmaker. Her heritage of Sephardic Turkish and Yemeni descent has brought her to serve as the Artistic Director of the NY Sephardic Film Festival. She holds an MFA in Film Production from NYU Tisch winning the Dean’s Fellowship. She’s the recipient of the ISEF Nina Weiner & Lily Safra International Fellowship, the Fusion Film Festival’s Grand Prize for the best short film, and the recipient of the Ronit Elkabetz "Rising Star" Pomegranate Award. She wrote, directed, and produced KEEP IT COOL, starring two Netflix shows lead Actors, Michael Aloni & Ariel Mortman, which premiered at the Montreal World Film Festival. She wrote the short film, NOW AND FOREVER which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival. As part of her studies at NYU, she assisted Director Todd Solondz and worked as a film Editor for Director Mike Newell. She graduated from Tel Aviv University magna cum laude, receiving the Dean’s Award for Excellence. She’s currently developing her debut feature project, awarded with the NYU Provost’s writing fellowship at NYU London.
Prior to her filmmaking career, Na’ama was a radio journalist and a broadcaster in Galatz, Israel’s National Radio Network.
